Each year on this historic day, the HFV Wilson Community Center hosts a parade to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s fight for justice, equality, and the continued progress of our country. We will be at Cardinal Park (P street Baseball fields) at 8:45 AM on February 24th to decorate. If you would like to participate in the parade, we ask that you arrive by 9:00 AM. The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 AM.

The parade route will be from Cardinal Park to MLK BLVD (We will take either N street or P street depending on how many parade entries are present). We will follow MLK BLVD down to F Street and take F Street down to the Community Center.

There will also be a short program at the community center at 12 PM if you would like to attend, but that is not required to be a part of the parade.
