EmpowHER Volunteer Form!

Good Morning, Amazing Humans!

EmpowHER 2024 is just ONE month away, and we are on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in making this event unforgettable!

What's New This Year?
We've listened to your feedback and made some exciting changes! To keep things running smoothly, we've extended shifts to 4 hours this year. Last year's 2-hour shifts led to a bit of confusion with alternating stations, so we're streamlining everything for a better experience!

Here’s What We Need:

• Friendly Faces for Check-In: We're looking for welcoming individuals to greet our guests at the front, and we need at least one bilingual person per shift to ensure everyone feels welcome!

• Department Representatives: This year, instead of sectioning off each department, we want to create a more integrated experience. We need:

  • Patient Experience Experts

  • Medical Team Members (Care Teams, Providers, and/or Care Coordinators)

  • Pharmacy Pros

  • Dental Peeps

Having a bilingual person at each of these stations would be incredibly helpful in ensuring all attendees can easily access the information and support they need!

Why Volunteer?
Your help is absolutely invaluable in making EmpowHER 2024 just as successful as last year’s event. However, space is limited this year, so if we receive a large number of volunteers, we may need to graciously decline some offers. But don’t worry—if you're eager to help but can’t fit into the scheduled hours, just reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Shift Details:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (EmpowHER kicks off at 10, so this gives us time to gather, get organized, and be ready before the doors open.)

• Shift 2: 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM (This gives us 30 minutes to ensure everyone knows their assignments and gets situated before the first shift ends.)

We’ll have a quick team huddle before each shift to make sure everyone knows their roles and expectations. We’re confident this approach will help us create an even more seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone!
