SockWars: May the Socks Be with You!

It’s that time of year again… SOCKTOBER is here, and with it comes the return of our epic SOCK WARS Challenge!

New around here? Not sure what all the fuss is about?

Fun fact: Socks are one of the most needed yet least donated items.

That’s why we’re hosting our 4th Annual Sock Wars Sock Drive!

Forget the typical sock drive – this is a full-on BATTLE! GSCC will be split into three teams: MEAP/Bloom/Bunker/Bunker Dungeon/Bank, Twelfth/Dental, and Walnut.

Your mission: Collect the most pairs of socks to claim victory! Any style, any size, for anyone – just make sure they’re brand new and still packaged. We’ll be collecting at each location throughout October, with weekly tallies posted on HerdThat.

To even the odds (and boost GSCC’s community outreach), feel free to rally your friends on social media! Just be sure to tag our page when they chip in. Want to go the extra mile? Let Jordan know when your friends are dropping off socks, or snap a photo and send it through the QR code found on the HerdThat homepage (I’ll give you wellness bonus points for every picture you submit of you or friends/family donating socks!! The more people see our awesomeness, the more they’ll want to join the fun!

All donations will go to the Salvation Army Shelter, Grace Center, and Community Youth Services.
