SOCK WARS!

With the uptick in COVID cases and the cancellation of our September Staff Meeting for safety reasons, we wanted to come up with a contest to replace all of the fun we would have had!

Introducing our SOCK WARS Challenge!

Think of a normal sock drive and then forget the NORMAL! This is a battle. The GSCC will be divided into three teams, The Annex/Bunker, Twelfth, and Walnut.

To win, your team will have to collect the most pairs of socks! The socks can be any style, any size, for anyone, as long as they are brand new and in the package! For the month of October, collection boxes will be set up at each location and will be tallied every Friday afternoon, with results posted weekly here on the Herd That (see chart on bottom of Herd That homepage)! Winners will be announced November 1st!

We understand that not all of the teams are evenly matched, so, to level the playing field (and increase the GSCC’s community presence) we are welcoming your use of social media to invite your friends to help your team out! Just be sure to share our page in the process! If you want to be even more awesome, let Marketing know when your pals are bringing socks by, or snap a picture and send it to us! The more people see how great we are, the more they will want to be a part of what we do!

All socks collected will be donated to the Salvation Army Shelter, and The Children’s Shelter.
