We did it!!!

Great news! We totally rocked our Operational Site Visit!

This is a huge win for us and it's all thanks to your amazing hard work and willingness to go the extra mile. Everyone at the GSCC played a part in this success, showing just how awesome we are at what we do.

Dr. Carnahan asked the reviewers what the national stats were with regard to OSVs. They told us that the average number of “findings” (problem areas that must be remedied) is eleven and guess what…we only had THREE!!! That is amazing! They also said that out of 208 Operational Site Visits conducted last year that only eight had no findings at all. This means that we are at the top of the class with regard to our operations and we have all of you to thank!

I want to express extra thanks to Kim Spandle, RN aka “Gigi from Compliance” for all that she did to get us prepared. She is going to hate that I am drawing attention to her BUT her hard work and long hours over the last month were critical to us presenting our best to the reviewers. Thank you, Kim for setting the excellence bar high, it truly paid off!

It's moments like these that remind us why we're here – making a real difference in our patients and community's health. Let's take a moment to give ourselves a pat on the back and celebrate this awesome achievement. You guys are the best, and I'm super proud to be part of this team with you.
