Be The Good
Thank you for being a part of our amazing team and for the incredible work you do every single day. We appreciate each of you so much, and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without your dedication and heart for service!
We are thrilled to continue our “Be The Good” program for a second year.
GSCC’s benevolence fund was created to bless those who are most deserving of it. As an organization and community, we know we have the opportunity to do even more to serve those in need.
For those of you who weren’t here last year, we launched this program to help a family in need, and the impact was profound. You can read about the family we were able to bless last year HERE
Through this program, we will periodically select a family or individual who could greatly benefit from this assistance. If at any point in the year, you know of a GSCC Patient that is in need of assistance, please reach out to me.
We’ve selected our first recipient of the year, and their story is an incredible testament to what GSCC stands for. Here’s a glimpse into their journey:
Our first recipient of the year is a 41-year-old Hispanic mother and her 6-year-old son, whose courage and resilience are nothing short of inspiring. After enduring domestic violence, they are now staying at a local shelter, seeking refuge and a chance to rebuild their lives.
This devoted mother faces overwhelming challenges—limited support, scarce food and clothing, and significant barriers to employment due to her immigration status. Despite all of this, she remains steadfast and kind, driven by the love for her son and her determination to provide him with a better life.
Our BH team has been working closely with her advocate at the family shelter, but with no Spanish-speaking staff available, even accessing resources becomes an additional struggle. Yet through it all, she has shown extraordinary strength and hope, believing in the possibility of a brighter future for herself and her son.
Through the "Be The Good" program, we hope to provide this family with tangible items that will help ease their burdens—clothing, food, and other essential items to meet their immediate needs. By addressing these everyday struggles, we can give them a sense of relief and show them they are not alone as they work toward safety and stability.
If you feel led to contribute, you can donate HERE—be sure to select “The Good” in the drop down so your donation goes directly to the GSCC Benevolence Fund.
A special thank you to the GSCC Leadership Team for their vision and commitment to our mission, and for creating this opportunity to give back in such a meaningful way.
We are so grateful for each of you and for the amazing work you do to make GSCC a place of hope and healing.
Let’s continue to Be The Good in the lives of those who need it most. We will keep you updated on our newest recipient as we provide her with these items and watch her take steps toward a brighter future.
Warmly,
Tiffany
