Good morning everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to send an update to let you all know that we will be changing up our December Pep Rally to better suit our needs. The December Pep Rally will Still take place on 12.15.23 at noon at the Murray Event Center. If you have already RSVP’d, no need to RSVP again.

The December Pep Rally is quickly approaching us, it scheduled for 12.15.23 from 12p -5p at the Murray Event Center 108 E Main St, Ardmore, OK 73401, right next to Murray on Main, in downtown Ardmore.

In order to ensure adequate food, please RSVP by filling out the form HERE. The deadline to RSVP is FRIDAY 12.01.23!!

I would also like to remind you that the Core Value Champion Nomination form is LIVE, and they are due by 12.01.23! Nominate your awesome coworkers HERE !

Good morning Sheep’s!

With so much growth in our organization, we often move many puzzle pieces around at the same time. With that, comes the challenges of sharing that news clinic wide. We are going to start posting here when we have team transitions. In the last several weeks that following team members have transitioned:

• Daniela Miranda has transitioned to our Dental Team as Dental Patient Advocate/Scheduler

• We have hired a Dental Patient Advocate, her name is Deanna Brown, she will start 11/14/23

• Myriah Carnes has accepted a position as Care Coordinator, and will start that transition as soon as we get her current position filled

• Marcela Bojorquez has transitioned to Medical Coder

• Derrek Sellers has transitioned to the Billing Team as Medical Biller

• We have hired a Pharmacist who will reside at the Walnut Clinic, her name is Zoë Heath

• Pharmacy Technician Bailey Braunagel has transitioned from the Walnut Clinic to the 12th Clinic

• We have hired an HR Director, her name is Nancy Stewart

• Dania Maldonado has returned

All extensions as known currently, have been updated. Please be sure to check the Resources Team page if you need to reach any of these newly transitioned team members, as their extensions have changed.

Having so much fun last night at the Family Fun Night, I completely forgot to announce the winners of our Sock Wars!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO …..

We have received word from Brown’s Hay Maze that it will not be possible to host the Family Fun Night tomorrow, but they are allowing us to change the date to next Thursday.

If you are no longer able to make it, we will not charge you for your t-shirts, so don’t worry about that!

If you were not able to come in the first place, and are able to now, please reach out to me and I may still have some t-shirts available!

I apologize for the inconvenience, but thankful they are willing to reschedule our date, even though it’s after they closed for the season.

Good morning, everyone!

It has come to my attention that some staff members have different codes on the back of their ID badges. Everyone was given a NEW badge last year with the correct codes, and that is the only one that should be used. Having the wrong badge, can cause a safety violation as some of the old ones have different codes but the same colors. Below is what the correct badge codes should be.

Please contact me immediately if you do not have a new badge, and I will get one printed for you.

It is very important that you discard the old ones, as they are no longer usable.

We have had some questions concerning possible inclement weather on Family Fun Night and I wanted to address the concerns. Should there be any inclement weather, we will cancel the event and you will be made aware by 4:30 pm that day via EMAIL/TEAMS.

Per the Brown’s Hay Maze policy, they will do their best to reschedule the event another day, but it is not guaranteed. We will share this information as it provided to us.

The Samaritan's Heart Award Presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 10th at 6pm, at the American Nation Bank's Community Room located at 1901 N. Commerce here in Ardmore.

Family Fun Night is coming soon (on October 26th)!

We have booked the 3B Brown Ranch Hay Maze again for all of our GSCC Team Members and their immediate families (this means you, your spouse/significant other, your children, or your grandchildren) to hang out together all in one place!

The Good Shepherd is providing the admission for you and your immediate family members (this means you, your spouse/significant other, your children, or your grandchildren). That includes your ticket to get in the door, a hotdog, drink and all the fixings for s’mores! WOOT WOOT! We are also having t-shirts made for you and your family! (Children’s Sizes Available: Youth Small - Youth XL)

It’ll be a GREAT time! Be sure to RSVP by October 10th below so we can be sure to give the ranch the right number and order enough tees!

REMINDER! Much like our Staff Meetings, each person MUST be in attendance to receive shirts. Excess will be added to Herd That Merch!

The Core Value Champion form is ready for responses!

We love to see our team members show support for our local schools. During fall, GSCC is allowing team members to wear LOCAL school spirit shirts to work on Fridays, with your black scrubs bottoms. HOW AWESOME!!

The GSCC will be hosting the OBI for a Blood Drive on Monday, September 25th at the Walnut Drive Clinic.

As we are nearing September 23rd, we are asking for Team Members to volunteer for GSCC’s 1st empowHER event!
