A Lifelong Legacy: Dr. Thomas McCulloh

Dear Team,

It is with a mix of gratitude and deep emotion that we announce the retirement of Dr. McCulloh at the end of the year and after more than 40 incredible years of service to this community. Dr. McCulloh has been an integral part of our community and our team, leaving an indelible mark on both our patients and all of us who have had the honor of working alongside him. His dedication, expertise, and genuine care for every patient have been an inspiration to us all.

Dr. McCulloh holds a special place in the heart of our community as the visionary who started the Good Shepherd as a free clinic almost 30 years ago. His dedication to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their income or circumstances, had access to quality healthcare laid the foundation for what we are today. Through his tireless efforts, Dr. McCulloh turned that vision into a reality, and his passion for service has touched countless lives, creating a legacy of care and compassion that will continue for generations.

As Dr. McCulloh steps into this new chapter, we want to take a moment to reflect on the countless lives he has touched and the legacy of care he leaves behind. His presence will be greatly missed, but his influence will continue to guide us as we move forward.

We also want to assure our patients that we are fully committed to maintaining the highest level of care. Our patients will have options in choosing their provider, and Dr. Carnahan, as Chief Medical Officer, will be overseeing their continued care. We are confident that with our strong team in place, we will continue to honor the trust our patients have placed in us.

Please join us in celebrating Dr. McCulloh and his outstanding career and his heart for caring for others. We will share details soon about how we plan to honor him and his incredible legacy.

Thank you, Dr. McCulloh, for everything you have done for the Good Shepherd, our community, our patients, and each one of us along with countless others who have worked alongside you in caring for patients. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you all the best in this exciting next chapter of your life!

Warmly and with so much love and gratitude,

Teresa
